Organised by NHS Informatics Merseyside, iLINKS X is a free to attend NHS conference and exhibition dedicated to showcasing innovation and technology in healthcare. This year’s event marks the 10-year anniversary of the conference and exhibition and will take place at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool on Thursday 4 July 2019.

As part of the day, delegates will hear from a host of distinguished speakers including a keynote address from Will Smart, Chief Information Officer (CIO) Health and Care in England and Louise Shepherd CBE, Chief Executive at Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust.

As well as a selection of thought-provoking pre-bookable seminars, there will also be an exhibitor marketplace, providing the perfect setting for exploring some of the latest and most innovative digital technologies in healthcare.

New for 2019 is the Med X Panel where clinical experts from across the region, with an interest in digital innovation and technology, will be on hand to answer your questions. Representatives currently include:

  • Dr Sinead Clarke, GP in Nantwich and Clinical Director, South Cheshire and Vale Royal CCGs.
  • Iain Hennessey, Consultant Paediatric and Neonatal Surgeon, and Clinical Director at Alder Hey Innovation Hub.
  • Laura Jenions, Critical Care Physiotherapist at The Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
  • Dr Cecil Kullu, Consultant Psychiatrist and Associate Medical Director for Research, Development and Innovation, Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust.

iLINKS X will also be hosting the inaugural Cheshire and Merseyside Digit@LL Awards which aim to celebrate innovative work and digital projects delivering real benefit to health and care. Nominations are open until Friday 21 June 2019.
