South Sefton residents invited to governing body meeting

Tuesday, October 30, 2018

NHS South Sefton Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) would like to invite members of the public to attend its next governing body meeting on Thursday, 1 November.

The November meeting, led by local doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals is a chance for people to learn more about the performance of health services in the area and future priorities.

It will be the first formal public meeting for new governing body member, Lynne Creevy who joined the group on 1 October 2018.

Lynne is practice manager at the Bridge Road Medical Centre in Litherland, where she joined as a receptionist and later became office manager before taking on her current role.

Dr Craig Gillespie, local GP and acting chair of NHS South Sefton CCG, said, “We always encourage members of the local community to attend our governing body meetings to stay up to date with the work we’re doing in the area.

“It is important to us that the public are involved in the decisions we make.”

The governing body meeting takes place on Thursday 1 November 2018 at Merton House, Stanley Road in Bootle from 1pm.

Attendees may also be able to ask questions before the meeting formally starts. All governing body meeting papers are available from the CCG’s website ahead of each meeting.
