Join us for Big Chat 6

Monday, May 23, 2016

Clinical commissioning groups (CCGs) in Sefton are inviting people to come along to their sixth Big Chat events to talk about health services with local commissioners and to give their views about their local NHS.

As well as hearing an update on each CCG’s latest work, residents will be invited to take part in workshop style sessions, where they will be asked for their views to influence how services develop in the future.

Dr Andy Mimnagh, chair of NHS South Sefton CCG, said: “At the event there will be a short presentation from the CCG but the important aspect is giving those who attend the chance to give their ideas of how we can develop our plans further. We are also holding the event early evening this time following feedback from previous attendees that this would be better for them.”

As part of the CCGs’ pledge to the Sefton Dementia Action Alliance to encourage people to become ‘Dementia Friends’, the Alzheimer’s Society will also be at the events so that people can take part in a short session and receive training if they wish. This will illustrate the difference that small things can make to those living with dementia.

The NHS South Sefton CCG Big Chat will take place on Thursday 16th June from 5.30pm-7.30pm at Bootle Cricket Club, Wadham Road, L20 2DD. Information on previous ‘chat events’ can be found here.

Anyone who is interested in attending is asked to call 0151 247 7000 to confirm their attendance or they can email southsefton.ccg@nhs.net.
